Weekly Recap Our HBHS Colorguard are WCWG 2026 Scholastic AA Champions !! They finished off an incredible season with an 11 point score increase, and it's their 3rd season in a row winning a gold medal in championship competition. Congratulations Colorguard! Last Week's Recap -We had a group of parents and students that came last Saturday to help paint our Drumline props. Thank you to everyone that came and helped! -Colorguard travelled to San Diego for the WGI San Diego regional, and participated in a 2-day competition. After a strong performance on Saturday, they qualified for finals the following day. Even though this competition is a bit far away in Riverside, please come support your students! It's finals week! This week is a different bell schedule, so our wind ensemble rehearsals will be at different times. If you're student hasn't completed their sight-reading auditions, they need to come in at one of the times listed below to get it done. It will determine chair placement, and it is also good audition experience. This past week we returned to classes, our drumline began meeting for rehearsals, and we started off the new year strong! Congratulations to the Oiler Band on an extremely strong 3rd place finish at San Clemente HS on Saturday! We jumped up almost 10 points from last week, were only 1 point away from 1st place, and the band placed first in the General Effect category. Congrats everyone!! Update! This weekend's competition has been cancelled due to the incoming weather. We will not be competiting or rehearsing on Sat, Nov 15th.
