Seniors, most of you are likely eligible to earn both your APA Honor Cord and APA Letter (Juniors might be eligible too!). Applications are due March 15th!

Turn yours into the APA Office ASAP!

Our Spring Programs are up and running and we need your donations to help keep things moving. Spring donations help pay for music licensing, transportation, specialists and more! Without donations, these programs cannot function!

Several Board Positions and Chair Positions will be available next school year and we need to get them filled! I know it seems like everything runs smoothly within the program (most of the time), but that is ONLY because of this year's INCREDIBLE Board!!!! That will NOT happen if we don't know fill these positions! Let us know how you can help!

  • We are looking for a Chairperson to organize the WGASC Color Guard Championships on April 12. Cielito will help mentor. Please email Cielito.

Schedule 3/10 - 3/16 -

 

  • Monday, Mar 10th

    • 2-2:45pm Wind Ensemble

    • 3-4:30pm Jazz Big Band

    • 4:45-5:45pm Jazz Lab Band

    • 6-9pm Drumline 

  • Wednesday, Mar 12th (Wind Ensemble Festival @ Beckman HS)

    • 1:41-2:15pm Quick rehearsal

    • 2:15-3pm Lunch break, change

    • 3:00pm Load busses

    • 3:15pm Leave for Beckman HS

    • 3:45pm Arrive @ Beckman HS

    • 5:15pm Warm-up

    • 5:45pm Performance

    • 6:15pm Clinic

    • ~7:00pm Load busses and head back to HBHS

    • ~7:30pm Arrive at HBHS and dismissed

  • Friday, Mar 14th

    • 1:41-3:22pm Wind Ensemble

    • 3:30-6:30pm Drumline

  • Saturday, Mar 15th (Drumline Competition @ Warren HS)

    • Rehearsal schedule to come in follow-up email to drumline parents

Additional Notes for Parents and Students-


 - Congratulations drumline on a great first outing at Marina HS this past Saturday! We had a very strong showing and will be working hard on getting the second movement ready for next week’s show. I will be sending out a separate email to drumline parents for this upcoming Saturday’s competition @ Warren HS.

 - This Wednesday is our Wind Ensemble Festival! Students need to come to school in their concert black dress clothes. They should also bring some money for some snacks/concessions food at the festival site. We would love it if you could come see our performance! We will be performing at Beckman High School’s Auditorium @ 5:45pm.
