Color Guard
The Huntington Beach High School Color Guard is a high energy performance arts program, training students how to communicate through music and movement.
Color Guard starts each August with Camp- Starting on August 21st. They participate in football games, community events and competitions. All HBHS Students are invited to join.

Join Color Guard
Color Guard is held in the fall with Camp starting on August 21st. We perform at numerous football games, community events, parades and more with the Marching Band. Then we perform at competitions on the weekends.
Winter Guard
Winter Guard is held from December-April and is held indoors with lots of performances and competitions! The 2024 team made it to the So Cal Championships in 1st place, and 2nd place overall!
How to Join
At the end of each school year, clinics are held to try out and see how fun it is to join!!
Costs are estimate to be approx. $500 for Fall.
Parent Volunteer
Each Color Guard Family is asked to volunteer several times throughout the year. This is easily done by helping with competitions, transportation, donations, selling tickets, and more.
Each family is asked to volunteer for 25 hours per student
Guard goes to Dayton, 2025!
Our 2024-25 Color Guard Team is already hard at work, learning new skills and routines and raising funds so they can make it to the WGI World Color Guard Championships in Dayton, Ohio- April, 2025!
