Oiler Music Guild Annual Awards Banquet
Thursday, June 6th

at the Central Park Senior Center, Parkview Ballroom

Check In will begin at 5:45pm
Mediterranean Cuisine Buffet Dinner will begin service at 6:15pm
Awards will begin at 6:30pm

We are still looking for volunteers to help with the set up and decorating as well as the clean up at this venue - If you are available to arrive early to and stay to help us remove our decorations once the awards have completed we would be truly grateful for your assistance. We're preparing for our Summer Programs and getting ready for the next school year!
There will always be events coming up and we always need volunteers! Every time you help, every moment of time, every item, and every dollar donated, makes our programs better! And the best part is getting to spend time with the best kids in Huntington Beach!!

We changed our Saver's FunDrive drop of date to be in August and we're looking to accumulate a bunch of stuff to do a major donation and get lots of money for our program! So we still want your stuff!! And we will be collecting throughout the summer.

Books and Media (books, magazines, dvds, cds) Please place in cardboard boxes

Additional Notes for Parents/Students
-We’re almost there! This week our Jazz Band is performing at the Distinguished Oiler Ceremony on Tuesday, both jazz bands and wind ensemble are performing at Band Pops Concert on Wednesday, and we have our music department banquet on Thursday.
-All Music Building lockers need to be cleared out by lunch on June 12th, the day of commencement. We will also be returning school instruments on the following day, June 13th.
-Come see our jazz bands and wind ensemble at our final concert of the year! The Band Pops Concert will be one Wednesday at 6pm at the HBHS outdoor amphitheater. Attendance is free! Students should wear “nice” clothes for the concert. For example, for guys I would suggest a colored shirt, but no need to wear a tie. Please no jeans and tee shirts.
