Looking for somebody who knows how to make Spam Musubi.
We are planning on selling Spam Musubi at the Winter Guard Tournament on March 30 and we need somebody to make about 100. All items needed will be supplied. Click the Sign Up Button above if you can help!
We are looking for parents to hold Chairperson positions to help the 2024-2025 Oiler Music Guild Board. We are especially looking for Tournament Chairpersons and Band Uniform Chairperson (we will have new band uniforms next year). Additional Notes for Parents/Students
-Our Wind Ensemble had an amazing performance at last Wednesday’s SCSBOA festival @ University High School. We received an “Excellent” rating and the adjudicators had great things to say about our ensemble. The only substantial issue we had was in regards to uniform. For remaining concerts like this Wednesday’s Spring Concert it is extremely important that students have either 1) a tux shirt, black bow tie, black dress shoes, and black slacks, or 2) a black dress. Please make sure students have this for Wednesday’s concert.
-Wednesday is our Spring Band Concert, in the HBHS Auditorium @ 7pm. Both Jazz Bands, and our Wind Ensemble will be performing. Attendance is free so please make sure to invite friends and family!
-Again, no AP Music Theory this week due to performances. We will pick up next week.
-Saturday is an extremely important fundraiser for our program; we are hosting a Color Guard Competition @ HBHS. Even though it’s a Color Guard competition, it benefits the entire program so we will need help from band and APA orchestra. We are also losing important help from drumline kids & parents due to the drumline competition on the same day so please sign up to help.
