Marching Band Schedule & Updates
Our final regular season Home Football Game is on Halloween, this Thursday! Join us before the game, as we will be honoring our Marching Band and Color Guard Seniors. Stay for Halftime to see a once in a lifetime Halloween presentation including Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheer, and HBHS Dance! We will need help in a few different ways for this game, sign up to help with
photography, visitor concessions, Senior uniforms, costumes,
or donate goods to be sold.
OMG's busy season is nearing it's end!
It's time for our final Fall push through the Holiday season!!
Our community is here to support you
in any way you need!

2:00-4:30pm Marching Band
5:00-6:30pm Optional band basketball game!
Tuesday, 10/29
6:00-9:00pm Marching Band

1:41-4:30pm Marching Band
5:30-8:30pm Halloween Football game routine practice (Subject to change, I will keep everyone updated)
Thursday, 10/31 (Football game, senior night!)
5:00pm Call-time, seniors change into uniform. Everyone else into costume.
5:30pm Senior families meet seniors in the stadium right outside the band room.
6:00pm Senior ceremony, everyone else in the stands to support!
6:30pm Seniors quickly change into costumes and get ready for pre-game
7:00pm Football game! Can leave after halftime performance

Additional Notes for Parents and Students-
- We had an awesome Homecoming Football game on Friday and also had a bunch of alumni join us! Thanks to everyone that came and played with us!
- This week we have another football game where we will be recognizing our seniors before the game and also will be performing a special Halloween themed show at halftime. Everyone is encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and students can leave after halftime.
Thursday’s Halloween performance at halftime is with Colorguard, Cheer, Dance Team, and the school administrators! It’s an exciting performance but we need an additional rehearsal with those groups to prepare. We are going to meet Wednesday night to work with the other groups. The time is dependent on the administrators and the time may shift slightly. I will keep everyone updated.
- Saturday is our third competition, and the schedule is also a bit tentative depending on field availability in the morning. Please plan on 9am call time.
- Sunday we are again leading the 2024 World Para Olympic Parade in downtown Huntington Beach. Students should meet downtown unless they need their instrument transported in which case they should meet at the HS.
- Please make sure our marching band competition dates are on your schedule: Nov 2, Nov 9, Nov 16, Nov 23. These performances are extremely mandatory, any potential scheduling conflicts should be communicated as soon as possible. Thank you!!
- Nov 23rd, California State Band Championships needs your help planning! We are looking for parents who are willing to step forward to help chair positions for our biggest fundraiser. If you are at all interested in chairing any of these positions, please let us know! Thank you so much in advance! Parking Co-Chair, Ticketing Co-Chair, Programs and Sponsorships.
