Additional Notes for Parents/Students

• Congrats to every orchestra, band, and extended APA student on an incredible Sounds weekend! It was a pleasure making it happen with you all, and I look forward to wrapping up the last couple weeks. 

• On Thursday, we will have a quick wrap up of Sounds before a bit of a social party with some pre-planned activities. We will still hold our official social event after winter break, but this will be more of an opportunity to get to know each other, eat some snacks, and relax a bit after an exhausting couple of weeks!

• If any students/families can contribute with some small shareable snacks (chips/drinks/etc.), we’ll have a bit of a non-perishable potluck. Please let me know of any food allergies! Sign up here! https://signup.com/go/YVnhkLt

• As I get up and running on Aeries, students and/or their parents will need to communicate absences to my email at pbement@hbuhsd.edu. Students will have the check-in sheet available in the band room every day, and we will be utilizing that to help with taking roll as students are coming and going throughout the day. Students, please check yourself off each day so there aren’t any mistakes!
