Our Annual OMG Banquet is approaching quickly and it can happen without support from all of you!
This is a super fun family event where we celebrate all of our Seniors as well as any individual awards that our kids have earned. We hope everyone can join us!

Do you need to clear out your closets? We need your stuff. We are doing a Savers FUNDrive this weekend, May 18! We are collecting clothing, shoes, household items, books, toys. We will have a collection period from May 16-18. Questions? Email Cielito at hbomg.president@gmail.com.
May 16 and 17: drop off anytime at 80 Huntington Street, SPC 711, leave on driveway

OR
May 18 (preferred): drop off your items at HBHS storage bin, drive down alleyway between music building and auditorium 8am-12 noon.

Soft Items (clothing, linens, shoes) Please place in kitchen trash bags
Hard Items (toys, household items, sporting equipment) Please place in cardboard boxes
Books and Media (books, magazines, dvds, cds) Please place in cardboard boxes

Announcement from our OMG Banquet Planning Chairs:
Save the Date for the Annual OMG Awards Banquet on
Thursday, June 6th
6pm to 9pm
at the Central Park Senior Center, Parkview Ballroom
18041 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Check In will begin at 5:45pm
Mediterranean Cuisine Buffet Dinner will begin service at 6:15pm
Awards will begin at 6:30pm
Tickets are $30 per person from May 1st-31st and include dinner & dessert, can be purchased at
We are also looking for volunteers to help up with the set up and decorating as well as the clean up at this venue - If you are available to arrive early to stay to help us remove our decorations once the awards have completed we would be truly grateful for your assistance. Additional Notes for Parents/Students
-Jazz Big Band had an amazing performance at this past Saturday’s RCC Jazz Festival! Big Band received a “Superior” rating and all of the judges were very impressed with the group. Way to go Big Band!
-This Wednesday is the AP Music Theory test that has to be done in the band room during 6th period. Unfortunately we will not be able to meet with wind ensemble after school on Wednesday. Enjoy the afternoon off!
-This Saturday is the Costa Mesa Jazz Festival where we’ll be having both the Big Band and Lab Band performing. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at Costa Mesa High School. I will be at the band room before and after if students need to pick-up/drop-off their instruments or music. Please make sure students bring money for lunch to buy at concessions.
