APA Festival Orchestra-
Focus is on continuing our work on our Sounds repertoire, and sight-reading at least two additional pieces.

Additional Notes for Parents/Students
Our student chamber recital is coming up on November 14th! Space is limited for seating (Roughly 120 seats in the black box), but it will be a wonderful evening of music from all of our sectional classes and we all would love your support!
Last week, we completed our first production meeting for Sounds of the Season, and I’m really excited about what we have planned this year. I will have a full update emailed out this week to all parents for the HBHS band and APA Orchestra with the details.
As I get up and running on Aeries, students and/or their parents will need to communicate absences to my email at pbement@hbuhsd.edu. Students will have the check-in sheet available in the band room every day, and we will be utilizing that to help with taking roll as students are coming and going throughout the day. Students, please make sure to check yourself off each day so there aren’t any mistakes!
