We are just about to October, which is filled with quite a few band-related and APA performances/events. Woohoo!
This week we have our Homecoming Football Game on Friday, where we take on Laguna Hills HS at home. For this game we still perform our pre-game routine and play in the stands, but we will not be performing a half-time show due to Homecoming festivities. We will still be in uniform so please volunteer to help out with uniforms/concessions/etc! More details are below.
We are also prepping for our first competition on Saturday, October 11th. Just a few things to keep in mind...We will be busy all day, getting to the school around 9am and probably won't be back to school until around 10pm. Students who are in APA's Shrek performance will be transported back to the HS right after we perform in the afternoon.
Attendance over the next few weeks is extremely important so we can have a strong performance!

Competition @ Costa Mesa HS (10/11) - We need help with chaperones and most important, we need another truck driver for our equipment truck. If you can please help drive the truck, please volunteer!
CSBC Champs at HBHS! (11/27) - We are still a couple of months away, but it's our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need every family's help! Please sign up for a shift now so we can pre-plan the day as best as possible.

October Guild Meeting
Our October Oiler Music Guild Parent Meeting is this Thursday, October 2nd at 7pm in the M-building. We will be discussing a lot of important info about our competitions, and also discussing planning for Band Champs on Nov 22nd that we host. Please attend!
